Love Waterfall is a famous waterfall located in San Sa Ho commune, 16 km from the center of Sapa town. This is also one of the starting points of the journey to conquer Fansipan peak.
To reach Love waterfall, visitors have to go through the green forest and bamboo forest. In March, the path leading to the waterfall becomes more beautiful thanks to the brilliant red color of the azaleas forming a charming picture of nature. After 20 minutes moving through the bamboo forest, visitors will reach the Golden stream at the foot of Love waterfall. In the legend, Love waterfall is the meeting place of a heavenly fairy and a woodcutter named O Quy Ho. However, because of God's consent, these two girls could not be together. In the end, because she missed her lover, the heavenly fairy turned into a yellow-feathered bird flying around the top of the mountain, calling out O Quy Ho's three inconsolable cries.
